[Story] A dead body you say?

A guard spots Xervo carrying Danbi's body. He rushes towards Xervo.

"Halt citizen! Why are you carrying that body? Explain or be arrested!" The guard draws his weapon, waiting for an answer.

"I'll give you the body for 15 Velli, if you don't want to, better leave me alone." Xervo draws his sword. "I am ready."

The guard sheaths his weapon and runs off. "I'll be back with backup!"

The guard returns with reinforcement. There is six of them now.
"Final warning citizen! Surrender or face consequence!" The guards unsheathe their weapons and start running towards Xervo.

Xervo drops the body and draws his sword...

. . . when a clear note rings out, followed by several pulses of magical energies, each carried by the note preceding them, which sweeps over the guards, knocking each one unconscious.

Danbi stands impassively by the side of Xervo, Ranna in her left hand and Kibeth in her right, having immediately rolled and and moved the bell to her hand when she was dropped.

"You know Xervo, I really hope you gained something from all of this, just look at the guards, that one is dead, fell on his own weapon, and all for an insignificant sum of money. In short, you would have been a great addition to our ranks."

"Take an airship, get out of Privella, just give me the lockpicks first, Ill be in contact, eventually."

Danbi tosses 15 velli to Xervo.

Xervo throws the bag filled with lockpicks and grabs the Velli.

"We will meet again." Xervo wanders off, towards the airport.
